.NET Compact Framework 
The Microsoft .NET Compact Framework is a smart device development framework that brings the world of managed code and XML Web services to devices. The Compact Framework provides the same benefits as the .NET Framework, but it is designed specifically for resource-constrained devices, such as PDAs.
