Mobile Web Development

The Microsoft® ASP.NET mobile controls (previously called the Microsoft Mobile Internet Toolkit) extend the power of ASP.NET to allow you to develop mobile web applications. A mobile Web application is one that is accessible by a wireless device. These devices vary greatly in their display size, display quality, available bandwidth, and supported protocols. The ASP.NET mobile controls handle most of the burden of displaying the information to these devices for you.
Check out the ASP.NET Mobile Controls section of the Mobile Developer Center.
